EHS ComplianceThe Assam Pollution Control Board (APCB) on March 11, 2026, issued a notification regarding the mandatory submission of GST No Dues Certificate for the renewal of Consent to Operate (CTO)/Consolidated Consent and Authorisation (CCA) in respect of Brick Manufacturing Units, Stone Crushers, and Sand Mahals.

The following has been stated: -

•Assam Pollution Control Board mandates GST No Dues Certificate for renewal of CTO/CCA for brick units, stone crushers, and sand mahals. 

•Applicants must submit GST No Dues Certificate or latest GSTR-3B returns for the last financial year. 

•The requirement applies to applications filed 120 days before the new financial year. 

•This aligns pollution control approvals with GST compliance directives issued by tax authorities. 

•The notification is procedural, effective immediately, and does not certify GST compliance by the Board.
